Franco - Soul Adventurer 2013

Franco was a Filipino rock band with members from different Filipino bands. The member is coposed of Franco Reyes (of InYo) on vocals, Gabby Alipe (of Urbandub) on guitar, Paolo "8" Toleran (of Queso) on guitar, Buwi Meneses (of Parokya ni Edgar) on bass guitar, and JanJan Mendoza (of Urbandub) on drums.

Franco started as a collaboration project between Meneses, Toleran, and Mendoza. Later on, they decided to look for a frontman to build a band and their project. In late 2008, Gab, Mendoza, Toleran and Buwi collaborated with Franco, who returned to the Philippines, to form the band "Franco". In 2012, Gab, Meneses, Toleran, and Mendoza left the band, but Franco Reyes continued his music, collaborating with his former bandmates in Cebu. He is going to release his sophomore album, entitled Soul Adventurer, in 2013.

The newest Filipino rock supergroup, on Tuesday afternoon formally signed a recording contract with MCA Music fronting the rock icon, Ely Buendia.

Buendia is popularly known as the legendary frontman of the group, "Eraserheads", which is about to reunite again and embark in the United States and Canada.  He is also the frontman of the band Pupil.

Oktaves is composed of Chris Padilla (from Hilera) also on vocals and guitars, Nitoy Adriano (long-time axeman of The Jerks) on lead guitar, Ivan Garcia on bass (Hilera) and Bobby Padilla on drums (Hilera).

The contract signing was held at the MCA Music Inc.’s office in Ortigas. Present with the band members were MCA Music executives headed by its president Ricky R. Ilacad, Wilson Cruz (sales and marketing director), Kiko Guevarra (A & R manager), Mark Bonifacio (OPM label manager), Pupil’s manager Day Cabuhat and Oktaves manager Ish Caparas.

After the success of her first 3 albums namely Salamat in (2007), Journey (Yeng Constantino album) (2008) and Lapit (2009) that gained platinum.

Yeng Constantino is back with her latest album. 10-track album celebrates Yeng’s success being a singer and songwriter after being named as the first Pinoy Dream Academy Grand Star Dreamer in 2006 on ABS-CBN.

Just like what “metamorphosis” means, Yeng has a new look and style in this album, which starts with the flame-red hair. Yeng confessed that she was initially concerned whether or not her fans are ready to listen to her new music. But I thought it's good because I'm giving them something new. And personally, I also want to challenge myself to do things that will excite me, Yeng related.

Chicosci - Fly Black Hearts

ChicoSci (previously Chicoscience) was originally composed of Miguel "Miggy" Chavez, Miguel "Mong" Alcaraz, Carlos "Calde" Calderon,Jan Kevin Santos and Joel Salvador from the Ateneo de Manila University. They later recruited guitarist Sonny Baquisal and long-time friend Eugene "Yug" Esquivias to solidify the songwriting process. The band won an inter school Battle of the Bands and spent the prize money recording a demo – an investment that landed them a two-album record deal with EMI Philippines. The band released the albums Revenge of the Giant Robot and Method of Breathing.

Fly Black Hearts is the 5th studio album of the band Chicosci released by MCA Music in the Philippines.
