Wolfgang is a Filipino heavy metal, the Filipino pride, hard rock and grunge band formed about 1992 in Manila, Philippines. Wolfgang is known as the Metallica of the Philippines. Wolfgang is notable for being the simply Filipino rock band to release albums in Japan and the United States and for realizing Platinum record sales in their home country. The quartet went on hiatus in 2002, but reunited in 2007.
