Tunog Natin “Songs From Home”

OPM 16 Artists collaborate in Tunog Natin

This album is another great of all time. The OPM original artist loses their reputation because of this tremendous artist and hilarious voice. A lot of people have the ability to produce and released an effortless album by means of bread and butter.

SEEKING to reignite interest in OPM, estab-lished and new local music artists gathered forthe first night of Tunog Natin: An OPM ConcertSeries on June 15 at the Ayala Triangle Garden inMakati City.Singer-songwriter Jim Paredes, formerly ofApo Hiking Society, bared a fun and playful idea he kicked things off with two songs from his new album aptly titled Laro. Paredes, 59, danced to the novelty beats of his carrier single, ButongPakwan, a song about dealing with the cravingsof a pregnant wife. He surprised the crowd with his rapping skills in OPM Rap.Paredes later revealed that most of the songs from Laro date back to the ‘80s and that their sound is different from what people have grown accustomed to with Apo.

One of the biggest challenges to keep OPMon its feet is encouraging the entire local music industry, specifically producers, to take risks. Its unfortunate, Paredes noted, that lofty entertainment taxes have forced producers to be timid, and just play it safe when launching projects.

Before anything else, I would like you to know that I don't like any of the track on this album, exept for "salamat" the collaboration of the living legend rocker of Philippine's pride Pepe Smith with new signed rock band Letter day story. at kaya ko lang po ito pinag aksayahan ng oras eh ako ay batong bato kase wala pa yung trabaho ko ngayong araw na ito.
