For those who do not know who is Dong Abay... He's the one who sang the legendary song "Banal na Aso, Santong Kabayo" Yano era. If you still don't know who he is, "You are doomed to repeat your music classes and change your music influences.

Dong Abay's "Rebulto" was a Jose Rizal tribute album by Dong Abay. Lyrically, the album that serves as a modern-day mouthpiece for Jose Rizal finds Dong’s unique musical genius still working in overdrive.

Westdon Martin Abay, popularly known as "Dong Abay", is a poet and a Pinoy Solid rock musician of 80's. He was the founding member, songwriter and lead vocalist of the bands Yano, Pan, and currently dongabay, which are now all defunct.

Dong Abay - Rebulto 2012

Born on April 5, 1971 in Manila, Philippines, he shares his birthday with the former Philippine President, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and the date of Abay's birth was also the day when American rockstar Kurt Cobain of Nirvana committed suicide in 1994. He is married to Ninj Botor Reyes. They have a son named Awit (Tagalog for "song" or "chant"), born on May 15, 2002.
